SEO case studyEFG Composites: a new website at the top of Google and ChatGPT in 4 months
October 2026 · UAE · GRP manufacturing

The challenge
EFG Composites makes fibreglass swimming pools, fish farming tanks, gratings, ladders and platforms in Ajman Free Zone, UAE. In June 2026 they had a new domain and no website: no backlinks, no reviews and no search history.
Older UAE fibreglass and GRP companies already held the top positions. And EFG’s buyers (contractors, engineers and fish farm operators) search by product, not by company name.
What I did
I designed and built the website and handled the SEO, so every page was planned for search before it went live.
- Keyword research for each product, based on how UAE buyers search.
- One page per product, for example GRP ladders split out from platforms.
- A fast, clean site that Google can crawl and understand easily.
- Blog posts and technical articles that answer buyer questions and link to the product pages.
- A complete Google Business Profile, kept active with regular posts.
- Trust signals: FAQ schema, ISO 9001 certification, consistent business details, and the old .com domain redirected to the new .ae site.
The results
Four months after launch, EFG Composites appears at the top of Google, in Google’s AI Overviews and in ChatGPT’s recommendations. These screenshots were taken in October 2026 from the UAE as guest searches, without signing in to any Google or ChatGPT account, so the results are not personalised.

The takeaway
A new website can rank quickly when it is built for search from the start. The same pages, profile and trust signals that ranked EFG on Google also got it recommended by Google’s AI Overviews and ChatGPT.
